Arthur has been with Synnex Australia since 2000, and has headed up the Sales Division as Sales Director since 2010.
During this period, Arthur has initiated several pivotal initiatives aimed at fostering strong customer relationships, streamlining the Sales organisational structure to focus on customer-oriented strategies, and adapting to evolving customer needs.
Arthur has been an integral part in driving the growth of the commercial, consumer, and cloud business.
He has also been a driving force in promoting a positive cultural change and effective communication within the company, leading to a more diverse and inclusive workplace.
Chief Financial Officer
Bob has been with Synnex Australia since 1997, where he commenced his employment as the Finance director. He was promoted to his current role as the CFO in 2006. Bob has brought a range of expertise through his previous experience with Mitac as F&A Director, Conti Chai Tai International as Group Treasurer and Commodore Electronics as Management Accountant. He has completed his studies in Banking and Finance from Hong Kong Polytechnics, and has a diploma from ACCA.
Product Management and Marketing Director
General Manager - New Zealand Operations
Darren has held numerous positions with increasing responsibility during his tenure with Synnex Australia since 1999. He has a wide range of experience in sales, product development and marketing. He is primarily responsible for promoting and increasing Synnex Australia’s growing presence in the IT distribution market within Australia. Prior to his tenure with Synnex Australia, Darren worked at Dual Technologies for over 6 years working in various roles including Business Development Manager.
Product Director
Deniz is the Product Director responsible for licensing, gaming and entertainment portfolio. He began his career in IT in 2000 where he held a variety of sales and product management positions with Express Data and Synnex Australia. Deniz also brings to the team vast experience and knowledge of the enterprise market, gained through his 14 years of experience in the industry. Deniz counts one of his major achievements as the successful implementation of the licensing business for Synnex Australia.
Product Director
Yu-Chen holds a Bachelor of Computing from Monash University. He commenced his career in IT with Mitac Australasia in 1996. He then began his career with Synnex Australia in 1999 growing from a planner position to his current role as a Product Director which he has held for the last two years. Currently his main focus is the Channel portfolios where his achievements include successful team management, establishing and growing vendor relationships.
Product Director
Jay commenced his tenure with Synnex Australia in 1999 as a Product Manager. He has completed a BBA Information Management and MBA degree from Melbourne Business School. In 2010, Jay was promoted to Product Director, focusing on Print, Supplies and System categories. Jay brings with him an array of experience in the Product Management, Marketing and Sales fields. His major achievements have included developing new distribution rights with key vendors and successfully growing those portfolios.
Product Director
Tim joined Synnex in October 2018 as a Senior Product Manager. With considerable experience in working with major hardware vendors and an extensive background in product and channel management, Tim was appointed Product Director after two years tenure. Since joining Synnex, Tim has established his team and expanded his product portfolio to include consumer and commercial systems and virtual reality. He is committed to growing and developing new opportunities and markets for Synnex.
Head of Cloud Operations
Cloud & ECommerce
Joining Synnex in 2013, Kuo Yoong led the multi-million-dollar end-to-end delivery of the Synnex B2B Cloud Marketplace. This initiative enabled Synnex to embark on a cloud journey offering SaaS and IaaS to our partners. In his current role, Kuo heads up the Cloud team, with a portfolio of global cloud ISV vendors in the security, productivity, print, migration, infrastructure IaaS and subscription SaaS domains. Kuo will focus on creating value for Synnex partners through providing the channel with recurring subscription base cloud solutions.
Prior to joining Synnex, Kuo worked for top tier IT consulting firm, Wealthy Management and has run his own digital agency.
Director of Channel Sales
Before joining Synnex, Thomas served as Intel's Director of Retail Sales in AsiaPacific and Japan (APJ) Territory. At Intel, he worked with Synnex in various capacities, developing a deep appreciation of the company’s values and business approach.
In this role, Thomas will spearhead Synnex’s Channel Sales team. He is responsible for driving the organisation’s sales initiatives and setting its strategic directions for engagement. Thomas plans to focus on a holistic approach to business development, extending beyond sales outcomes to include innovative strategies, nurturing the team's potential, and enhancing customer engagements. He is also committed to fostering an environment of empowerment for the team and driving mutual growth and success through partner collaboration.
Thomas intends to lead the company on a business transformation journey, embracing change and innovation to stay ahead in the market.
Director of Consumer Sales
Jason commenced his tenure with Synnex Australia in July 2009 as Senior Business Development Manager in the National Retail team. He currently leads the external National Retail Sales team as the Manager – National Retail. One of his key achievements includes successfully bridging the gap between customers, vendors and Synnex Australia. Prior to his tenure with Synnex Australia, Jason held senior positions with Harvey Norman for 18 years in Sales, Product and Marketing Management at both a national and state level.
Director of Sales Operations
Rupa joined Synnex Australia in November 2006 with 19 years’ experience within the IT and Sales industries. Currently she holds the role as Manager- National Retail with leadership responsibility for national retail development in the Australian retail market. Within Synnex Australia, Rupa has held a series of progressive roles, where she was instrumental in the significant growth of the National Retail channel and department. She currently leads a team of 15 sales professionals focused on increasing and maintaining Synnex Australia’s retail market share. Rupa also holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) and Diploma in Internet Programming and Systems Management.
Head of Human Resources
Meghana’s career with Synnex Australia began in July of 2005 when she joined as Human Resources Specialist and was promoted to HR Manager in 2006. Prior to Synnex she held roles at KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, GE Capital Finance and the Salvation Army Employment Plus focusing on customer service, employment consultancy and recruitment. She leads a team of HR professionals focusing on areas including change management, employee engagement, industrial and employee relations. Meghana has earned a Bachelor of Arts and Masters in Business Administration specialising in Strategy and Human Resources from Swinburne University.
Logistics Manager - Southern Region
Jacky commenced his career as a logistics project specialist for the Synnex Group in Taiwan in 2017, before heading up the Melbourne logistics team three years later. With his proven skills and knowledge, Jacky now leads the Southern region logistics team in his current role. His guiding principles are aligned to the company’s 3V principles. Jacky remains committed to streamlining Synnex’s logistics operations to deliver continued outstanding service to our partners.
Jacky holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from National Taiwan University.
General Manager – Northern Region
Patty started with Synnex Australia in 2000 as Sydney Branch Manager and was appointed in 2004 to her current role as the General Manager - Northern Branch heading the Sydney office in Operations, F&A division. She has brought a wealth of experience and skill sets from her previous employment with Ingram Micro (Queensland Branch Manager), Electronic Resources P/L (Queensland Branch Manager), and Public Accounting Practices (Senior Accountant). Her former occupation as a qualified CPA provided her with extensive knowledge in accounting/planning that supports her current day to day activities.
Business Quality Management - Manager
Lillian joined the Synnex Australia team in 1999 and has held progressive positions in the Product Management and Purchasing department. Lillian was promoted to manager of the Business Quality Management team in 2007.Since moving into this role her main focus has been to audit and streamline operational processes related to Sales and Product Management. Prior to joining SYNNEX, Lillian gained valuable experience and exposure working within the finance, administration and sales sector. Lillian holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and Masters of Science in Accountancy.
Credit and Treasury Manager
Roger joined Synnex Australia in August 1998 as the Treasury Manger. Prior to SYNNEX, Roger was working with Electronic resources/Ingram Micro as an accountant. During his 16 year tenure with Synnex Australia, Roger has held progressive financial roles and he is now the Credit Control and Treasury Manager, leading a team of 17 nationally. Roger holds a Bachelor of Business Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Management Information Systems - Manager
Adeline holds a Bachelor of Business Administration majoring in Management Information Systems, and a Master of Business Systems. She commenced her career in IT with Synnex as a programmer in 2000, and then gained further exposure as a Database Administrator/Tester at Intellect Computing Technology. Adeline re-joined Synnex Australia in 2003 as a System Development Team Leader and was promoted to her current role as the MIS Manager in 2004. Her main focus during her tenure with Synnex Australia has been Systems Analysis and Integration, Website Development, Project Management, Infrastructure planning, deployment and support, Network Security, and continually improving the IT operation policies and procedures.
